Spanish Summer School for kids
Welcome to my Spanish Summer School for kids.
From August 28th till September 1st + September 4th and 5th from 9:00 to 16:00.
Children will enjoy 2 hours of Spanish classes every day in a relaxed and fun way; using TPRS-Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling and other techniques that make kids enjoy and love the language.
The rest of the day is full immersion in Spanish with diverse activities such a playing games, board games, knitting, crafting, forest walking, swimming, mindfulness… all activities are Waldorf orientated.
The Summer School is for a small group of kids (max. 8 kids).
The food is not included. Kids need to bring their snack and lunch.
The price for 7 days is 280€ per child (40€ per day), the second child/sibling pays 210€ (30€ per day).
You can pick the amount of days that suits your child/children and you better, there is no need to enroll your child/children the whole week.

No, he/she doesn’t.
If your child doesn’t speak any Spanish, it is not a problem. We will use gestures, signs and pictograms to make him/her understand and feel comfortable.
If a problem arises or if there is something important to solve, we will use English as a vehicular language.
Kids from 5 to 12 are welcome.

9:30 – 1030 Spanish Class 1
10:30- 11:00 Recess/Snack time
11:00- 12:00 Swimming and other outdoor games Spanish Class 2
12:00- 13:00 Spanish class 2
13:00- 14:00 Lunch and free time
14:00- 16:00 Arts and crafts activities, knitting, board games…
- Small backpack
- Flip-flops, swimming suit, towel and sunscreen

I taught Spanish at a Dual Language School for 5 years in Dillon, Colorado- USA. A beautiful town in the Rocky Mountains where my two kids were born.
After that we moved to Finland where I taught in an English Kindergarten and in a Waldorf Special Education School. We lived in Helsinki for four years and, believe it or not, I could speak Finnish.
The darkness and the cold weather made us move to Costa Rica, where I taught Spanish for few months before the pandemia made me return to my home country; Spain.
After 10 years traveling around, we have been really happy living in La nucía, Alicante since 2021.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SPANISH CLASSES FOR YOUR CHILD?
At this moment I created two different groups:
An intermediate group on Mondays from 16:00 to 17:30, for kids who had have some exposure to the Spanish language, speak a little bit of Spanish and can understand easy commands in Spanish.
A beginners group on Thursdays from 16:00 to 17:30 for kids with little or no prior exposure to the Spanish language.
Together will make the better choice for your child.
